***AUTHOR'S FIRST BOOK SIGNED BY*** "ROBERT FROST" A BOY'S WILL BY ROBERT FROST New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1915.  First American Edition [See Crane A2.1].  Hardcover with blue fine linen cloth lettered in gold gilt on the front cover and spine.  5 1/4" by 7 3/4".  63 pages.  Robert Frost's First Book of Poetry, this Collection contains 32 of the Poet's earliest and best poems, including "Into My Own," "My November Guest," "Storm Fear," "Flower Gathering," "Asking for Roses," "Mowing," "Going for Water," "Revelation," "The Trial by Existence," "The Tuft of Flowers," "October" and "Reluctance" as well as Robert Frost's very first commercially published poem in 1894, "My Butterfly."  THIS IS AN AUTOGRAPHED FIRST EDITION COPY BOLDLY SIGNED BY THE POET BELOW HIS PRINTED NAME WHICH HE HAS CROSSED OUT ON THE TITLE PAGE WITH HIS TYPICAL FOUNTAIN-PEN-AND-BLUE-INK SIGNATURE, AND IN HIS UNIQUE AND INIMITABLE HANDWRITING: "ROBERT FROST" Robert Frost was one of the greatest American Poets of the Twentieth Century who was awarded a record-breaking total of Four Pulitzer Prizes in Poetry for his poems, and who is best remembered for his poems "Birches," Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening," "The Road Not Taken" and "The Gift Outright" which he recited at the 1961 Inauguration of President John F. Kennedy.  Corners lightly chipped, spine ends worn, spine slightly faded, previous owner's bookplate neatly pasted to the inside front cover, two-line ink inscription in the upper left-hand corner of the blank front free endpaper and the previous owner's name in the upper left-hand corner on the reverse side of the endpaper, otherwide a Very Good Autographed First Edition Copy in nice, tight, clean and collectible condition with the gold gilt lettering on the front cover still nice and bright and fresh.  Copies of the First American Edition of the Author's First Book of Poetry Signed by "Robert Frost" are very rare.  Buyer pays $10.00 Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation in the U.S. Insurance required and additional at cost.
