LANKES New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1928.  First Edition with "First Edition" stated on the Copyright Page [See Crane A10].  Hardcover with dark gray-green paper-covered boards backed with dark green cloth with an illustration on a gold gilt paper label set in a panel stamped on the front cover, and lettered in gold gilt along the spine. 5 3/4" by 8 3/4".  64 pages.  Beautifully illustrated with a Frontispiece and three other full-page black & white Woodcut Engravings by the noted Artist and Illustrator, J. J. Lankes. Robert Frost's Fifth Book of Poetry, West-Running Brook, contains 39 of the Poet's poems, including "Spring Pools," "Acceptance," "Once by the Pacific," "A Minor Bird," "Bereft," "Tree at My Window," "Acquainted with the Night," "Sand Dunes," "The Flower Boat," "The Last Mowing," "The Armful" and the title poem, "West-Running Brook."  Robert Frost was awarded a record-breaking total of Four Pulitzer Prizes in Poetry for his poems.
