*FIRST 1914 EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, BINDING F* **AUTHOR'S SECOND BOOK SIGNED** "ROBERT FROST" NORTH OF BOSTON BY ROBERT FROST London: David Nutt, 1914.  First Edition, First Issue, Binding F with "First edition, 1914" printed on the Copyright Page and with "Printed in Great Britain" rubber-stamped on page iv [See Crane A3].  Hardcover with green linen cloth covers lettered in gold gilt on the front cover and spine.  Measures 6" by 7 3/4".  143 pages.  Robert Frost's Second Book of Poetry, North of Boston contains 16 of the Poet's earliest and best poems, including "The Pasture," "Mending Wall," "The Death of the Hired Man," "Home Burial," "The Black Cottage," "Blueberries," "A Servant to Servants," "After Apple-Picking" and "The Wood-Pile."  Whereas Robert Frost's First Book of Poetry, A Boy's Will, brought Frost some notice as a poet, it was this Second Book of Poetry, North of Boston, with its dramatic dialogues and the Poet's "Sound of Sense" theory of poetry that established Robert Frost as a First-Class Poet not only in England, but in America as well.  THIS IS AN AUTOGRAPHED FIRST 1914 ENGLISH EDITION COPY BOLDLY SIGNED BY THE POET IMMEDIATELY AFTER HIS PRINTED NAME ON THE TITLE PAGE WITH HIS TYPICAL FOUNTAIN-PEN-AND-BLUE-INK SIGNATURE, AND IN HIS UNIQUE AND INIMITABLE HANDWRITING: "ROBERT FROST" Robert Frost (1874-1963) was one of the greatest American Poets of the Twentieth Century who was awarded a record-breaking Four Pulitzer Prizes in Poetry for his poems such as "Birches," "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" and "The Road Not Taken."  But Robert Frost is probably best remembered for reciting his poem, "The Gift Outright," at the 1961 Inauguration of President John F.
