Description
THE TALENTED MR RIPLEY By PATRICIA HIGHSMITH Published by Cresset Press (London) in 1957. First UK edition, first printing. Boards are in very good plus condition. Clean with sharp corners. Binding square and tight. Slight spotting to edge of text block. Internally there is slight browning to the margins of the endpapers. Otherwise pages are in very good plus condition throughout. Dust jacket is not clipped showing original price of 15/-net. A very nice bright jacket with the usual slight fading to the spine. A small (1cm) closed tear to the head of the spine at the lower joint and a similar tear to the top corner of the lower panel. A very small (0.5cm) closed tear to the bottom edge of the upper panel. The jacket is now protected in a removable plastic sleeve (not shown in the photos). The author's most sought-after work. A really lovely copy of a scarce book. Shipping overseas Shipping rates as detailed below All books under £200 will be sent by Royal Mail airmail within 48 hours of receipt of payment. Books at £200 and over will be sent within 48 hours by Royal Mail 'Airsure' (or 'International Signed For' where 'Airsure' is not available) with insurance to the full value of the book. Once the book has been mailed I will Email you notification together with a reference number which will enable you to track or trace your delivery online. There will not be any additional charge for this service above the stated shipping costs. Combined postage I will combine postage/shipping costs.
