The Tizzle Sisters & Erik Unique Auction Collection Start Price GBP 750.00 Current Price GBP 750.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, November 18, 2008 End Time Tuesday, November 25, 2008 Location Plymouth See more about 'The Tizzle Sisters & Erik Unique Auction Collection' Description The Original Tizzle Sisters conception drawing, book and press clipping as well as a Certificate of Authenticity.   This is a unique One off Auction and probably worth hundreds if not thousands of pounds.   This is for the first ever drawing of the Tizzle sisters which was done in July 2006 at the Bristol Comic fair.   In producing the images for this new style book, myself and G P Taylor were trying to get the right image of how the Twins would look.   The actual drawing is on Acitate art card for comics which is 10 inches by 8 inches and is hand signed by Dan in the bottom right hand corner.   The official photographer was Sarah photo-girl and she had travelled with Graham to the Fair to promote Graham’s Shadowmancer comic series which had just been released and this was the first time an “ A “ list author had been published from Book into monthly comic series.   Sarah happens to dress in Victorian style clothes and whilst talking to Graham and Dan Boultwood the artist for the Tizzle sisters book I happened to catch a particular look of Sarah and asked Dan to draw an image of Sarah as if she were one of the twins.   This was done and we all loved the first ever image that much that Dan went on to draw from this original concept drawing.   There were some slight changes made which included putting the twins into trousers, however, the actual image did not vary very much at all.   I had some images made by Sarah and the first ever true picture of the Twins emerged and Sarah became the then, Twins model.   The actual drawing is in Blue-pencil and is signed by Dan and carries the Markosia embossing stamp on the bottom of the drawing.   I have shown an image of the News paper clipping of Sarah and Graham which comes with this auction.   I am including a fine unread signed copy of the Tizzle Sisters and Erik as part of this auction and a letter of authenticity stating this is the one and only copy of this in the world and that no-body has any rights to recreate this or copy it.   I am also including a colour photograph of Sarah as the Twins which is also signed and to make this even more scarce Sarah has signed the book , which means this is a unique book signed by G P Taylor, myself and Sarah.   This really is where the image of the twins was formed and all of the items included are unique and come with a lifetime guarantee that they are as stated.   The Tizzle Sisters and Erik has been purchased by Tyndale Press Limited, U S A for a six book deal and has now been released as The Dopple Ganger Chronicles.   One Tizzle Sisters book has already sold for £1200.00 and the true 1st editions are now hitting £150 to £300 per copy.   Please remember that out of the original 20,000 copies that only 800 to 1000 sold or were used to promote the book and I know of at least 50 copies that have been damaged and destroyed.   This really is a great auction for anyone to invest in, however, please do remember that prices can go down as well as up.   Thank you for reading this and if you have any serious questions please feel free to email us.     Place a Bid!
